Hi, I'm Bob.

I'm an entrepreneur, a husband, father and regular guy devoted to helping you make the world a better place by putting love and giving at the center of growing your business.

I've always known I was meant to help other people. And I've always known I was meant to do big things. Even when there wasn't a lot of evidence to support this belief.

Sure, I've got great hair (something of a running joke around our community).

But growing up, I was a C student.

I was deathly afraid of public speaking.

And for the first ten years of being an entrepreneur, I really wasn't very successful at all. Even the five years of getting where I am today have taken a whole lot of hustle, faith, ‘what am I nuts?' moments… and a whole lot of grit.

These days, I talk a lot about how our problems are gifts. How the struggles we go through make us the people we are today. That the challenges we face actually enrich us and make the stories we tell about our lives more genuine and inspirational to other people. There is no testimony without a test, as they say.

But not that long ago, after two failed businesses in seven months, I was at the lowest point of my career. Almost overnight, I went from being on top of the world to hitting rock bottom. I felt completely lost and devastated.

There was no backup plan. I had absolutely no idea what I was going to do.

Sometimes our biggest failures are our greatest opportunities.

Still, I knew that I was meant for something great. That there was a reason I was put on this earth. I decided not to feel sorry for myself, become bitter, or wonder “why did this happen to me?!”

Instead, I completely reinvented myself and took massive action.

The idea of not being an entrepreneur – finding my unique way to impact the world and make a difference – was NOT an option.

Let's get real here: I was desperate. My back was against the wall. I needed to make someting happen. Something had to change.

So I started showing up on social media, to teach and put value out into the world. I broadcast a live video a day, every day.

And I had to overcome my deep and very real fear of public speaking to do it.

I didn't know what I was doing. I wasn't trying to make money. I just had the idea that showing up to give what's mine to give, with authenticity in my heart, could turn into something good.


Just 2 weeks after getting engaged to Shannon...I find out the company I had spent the last 5 years working with decided to shut down their network marketing operations. No one had any idea it was happening, literally overnight I went from being on top of the world, to completely having the rug pulled out from underneath me.

After a really difficult month of soul searching and weighing my options, I decide to join some good friends working with a more established network marketing company. I now had a renewed sense of excitement and was incredibly hopeful for what this new venture had in store for me and Shannon.

I attend my first ever “generic marketing” event in Florida, where I meet Ray Higdon for the first time. During this event, I make the decision to invest over $20k to join Ray’s mastermind program. I had NEVER even thought about making that type of investment before, but I knew that I needed to learn personal branding and online marketing. All I remember thinking was, “Shannon is going to kill me”. As hard as the decision was when I joined… it was about to get MUCH harder.

Less than 2 weeks after joining the mastermind, and 7 months after joining this new company… without any warning, they get shut down by the federal government. It becomes one of the most notorious and highest profile cases of it’s kind in the history of the profession.  Now for the second time in just over 7 months… I have no money coming in, and no idea what I’m going to do.

Out of sheer desperation I woke up on the Monday morning after I got the terrible news, and decided to FORCE myself to do my first ever video on social media. I figured if I was EVER going to do it, now was the time. I had been putting it off for almost a year, my fear of public speaking was rearing it’s ugly head again. I did a live broadcast on Periscope to a grand total of 5 people. It was pretty much a complete disaster. On that broadcast, I committed that I was going to do a video every day for the next 30 days.

After doing a video per day for 30 days, I started to see some early initial signs that maybe this could actually turn into something. The mastermind was giving me the belief that I could make this work for myself, but I had a big problem. With no money coming in, it wasn’t going to be able to continue to make the payments. So, against my better judgement, I decided to liquidate my 401k and the only retirement savings that I had to pay for the mastermind and create my own website.

Armed with a new website, new podcast, and slowly growing following on my videos (averaging about 20 people per broadcast), I was ready to move into full massive action. I was completely broke, back up against the wall, but fueled with the belief that I could make it work if I just had faith. My 30 day “experiment” turned into a live video every day for the next 5 months.

After almost 6 months of videos every day, adding as much value as I possibly could to my audience (still without anything to sell… aka - haven’t made a penny yet), I decided it was time to create my first offer. Shannon had been incredibly supportive of me the entire time, but I knew I needed things to change FAST or we were in trouble. I kept telling her this was going to make us money… but still nothing yet. I could barely even afford to buy her a Christmas present.

For my first paid product, I sold a $27 webinar that I called, “Building Your Business with Facebook”. I announced it on my morning Periscope, and by the time I was done only 15 minutes later I already had like 100 people buy! Over the next 7 days, I had over 1,100 people purchase the training, and wound up making over $30,000. I couldn’t believe what was happening! I had never done a webinar before, so I hired someone to run the webinar for me incase anything went wrong. I literally finished the presentation only a few hours before the start… I was a nervous wreck.

At the end of my webinar I was planning on offering a 90 day live group coaching program for $497 that I was calling the Breakthrough Academy. I can remember feeling so nervous, thinking “Is anyone actually going to pay me $500 for this?” I poured my heart and soul out for almost 2 ½ hours on the webinar and then anxiously transitioned into my offer.What happened next, I’ll forever point to as THE moment that everything began to change for me.The purchases started to pour in, one after the other. Shannon and I stayed up late that night, in disbelief of what was happening. We wound up doing an additional $82,000 in sales on the webinar, so including the registration… we made a total of $113,000 - results may vary : )

6 months of doing a video every day without making a single penny, literally only 30 days prior being so broke that I could barely buy Shannon a Christmas present… could this actually be real?  All total, between course sales and private coaching… I made over $200k in the month of January. Talk about my life changing overnight. It was one of the most surreal experiences of my life. My best YEAR prior to this, wasn’t that much better! So to make up for putting her through an emotional roller coaster, Shannon and I had a much needed night out to celebrate.

My following started to grow exponentially, and because the first Breakthrough Academy (BA) was such a success, we already had over 450 people on the waitlist for the next one! So I decided to repeat the exact same formula as the first time. I did a $27 webinar called the “Social Media Recruiting Formula”, and sold the BA on the webinar again for $497. This time I had over 2,200 people register, and all total, we did $155K on the second webinar. Total sales for the BA this time around was over $200k - once again… results may vary : )

Shannon and I make settlement on our first ever home! If someone would have told me when this all started that 5 months later I’d be buying a house, I would have told them they were crazy. I could barely even figure out a way to pay my rent. But there we were, closing on our dream home in our dream neighborhood. What an incredible moment for the both of us.

Exactly 1 year (to the day) after attending that first event where I joined the mastermind… I stood on stage in front of almost 200 people from all over the world at my own event - where I sold MY OWN mastermind program. Once again, scared out of my mind wondering if anyone would even buy… 45 people from the audience joined. That represented almost $300k in total sales. Crazy to think that something I just learned less than a year ago, I was now going to be responsible for teaching to 45 other people.

I finally get to say “I Do” to the woman that stood behind me no matter what life threw in our way. I’m sure there were plenty of sleepless nights for her, wondering if I was going to be able to turn things around. The moment I stopped focusing on how much money can I make? and started focusing on how many people can I help? changed EVERYTHING.

The funny thing about putting your focus on being of service to other people is that it really does come back to you exponentially. We really are all connected. Whatever you give to other people will come back to you a thousand fold, in one way or another. So if you want to receive more of anything in your life – more success, more impact, and yep, even more money – give more. Love more. Be more.

To say that my life has changed since implementing this new philosophy that I now refer to as Know, LOVE, and Trust is an understatement. Just over a year later from having done that very first video, I was able to earn a million dollars and completely turn my life around.
